Fitting Kit

Our driveway gates come with everything you need to fit them, including hinge plates, receiving brackets, and instructions. We also offer bolt-on hinge posts in 50×50 or free-standing hinge posts in 80×80. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How to Measure Your Opening

Our gates are designed to fit between two pillars or walls, or they can be free-standing if you purchase posts. To measure your opening, please send us the overall size. We will allow space for the hinges or posts. We recommend taking measurements from the bottom and top of the opening, and sending us the smallest measurement if there is a difference. This setup will work for both inside and outside openings. We will also leave an 80mm gap underneath the gate to avoid any rises in your driveway.

Materials Used

Our driveway gates are made from a heavy-duty 40×40 box section frame, composite wood boards, and 150mm high solid railheads. Composite boards are a new type of material that is similar to decking. They require no maintenance and will not rot like real wood. They are made from recycled plastics and are available in eight different colors in either a wood grain or smooth planed style.

Optional Extras

If you do not have pillars or existing posts to fix your gate to, you may require posts. We can supply four different size steel posts depending on the size of your opening. The posts can be either concreted in or have brackets welded on to fasten to a wall. As standard, the gate comes with a FREE Hook Deadlock with Handle worth £95. We also offer a full bespoke design service, so if you have any specific requirements, please get in touch.

Metal Finishes

We offer three different finishes on our metal gates: self coat (bare steel to be coated by the buyer), powder-coating (paint), and zinc-coating. We recommend zinc-coating then powder-coating exterior steel. Powder-coating can last up to 15 years, and we zinc-coat our products for added protection. Due to couriers, we cannot guarantee scratch-free delivery, although great effort is put into packaging.

Delivery

We offer FREE delivery on all orders to mainland UK. As everything is made to order, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Once your order is almost complete, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day. We do offer a premium service within four weeks for delivery, please get in touch for details.
